Jammu, Dec 25: Jammu University's Director Physical education is allegedly trying to accommodate private coach in fencing discipline.
According to sources, the said coach who is neither an employee of sports council nor youth services is also holding training sessions in the Jammu University campus. It is pertinent to mention here that the administration of Jammu University, who claims to run a fencing academy besides other disciplines, is also charging from the trainees, which is being looked after by a professional lady coach.
If sources are to be believed the coach in question is also continuously pressing the Director Physical Education of the Jammu University to accommodate him in the Department of Physical Education of the Jammu University.
Sources in the Jammu University said that the Director has reportedly assured the private coach to adjust him in the department.
However, some of the senior fencers including an Inspector in the Armed Police have hand in glove with private coach and the Director. Sources further added that the SI in connivance with the university authorities is pressing hard to shift Khelo India centre in the University under the guidance of a private coach.
However, a senior coach at MA Stadium has ruled this attempt and interference of a policeman and another international player into the university affairs only to get their closed one accommodated at the cost of genuine and professional players. |
