JKHCBA holds Shradhanjali Samaroh, pays tributes to martyr DySP Thakur

JAMMU, Feb 25: To pay floral tributes to DySP Aman Thakur who attained martyrdom in Kulgam (Kashmir) during an encounter with terrorists, the J&K High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) Jammu held a Shradhanjali Samaroh here today in the High Court premises.
The members of the Association participated in the Shardanjli Samaroh and paid their heartfelt tributes to martyr DySP Aman Thakur and recalled his sacrifice for the cause of nation.
BS Slathia, senior Advocate and president JKHCBA, Jammu while paying tributes said that Thakur has scarified his life for the nation. He said that the people of the country in general and state in particular would always remember him for his courage and sacrifice.
Slathia further said that the people of Jammu have all through fought for the nation and they shall continue to do so without any fear and at whatever cost it may be. The Association and people of Jammu stand united and cannot allow the rise of any kind of anti-national activities in the state. Slathia further urged that anti-national elements should be identified and be brought to book. We are all nationalists to the core and stand united irrespective of caste, creed and religion and committed to uphold the unity and integrity of India. It is our firm resolve that the days of anti-nationals in J&K State are over as the nation just can't afford the rise of militancy in the State. He further expressed his deep sympathies with the members of the bereaved family acknowledged their courage to bear this irreparable loss.
Others who paid tributes in the Shardanjli Samaroh were Sunil Sethi, senior Advocate (former president), AV Gupta, senior Advocate, UK Jalali, senior Advocate (former AG), DC Raina, senior Advocate (AG), Aslam Goni, senior Advocate, KS Johal, senior Advocate, Surinder Kour, senior Advocate, VB Gupta, CM Sharma, AK Sawhney (former president) and several others.
