Aditya anounces whole funds contribution from Dogri Fest to martyrs

Jammu, Feb 27: Under the compelling circumstance, when war like situation has dawned on India and Pakistan, the nationalist spirit of India, particularly of Dogras, have stood up with the nation as well its soldiers.
Holding its Dogras tradition supreme, Aditya Bhanu, a senior stage actor and director of the state has come up with an announcement for a contribution towards martyred soldiers and their families' welfare.
While Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages ( JKAACL) and North Zone Cultural Centre , Patiala is preparing for celebrations in conducting Dogri drama festival, Aditiya Bhanu , director, Lakshya -the aim has called upon culture academy to hounor the funds received by the group for participation in festival for welfare of the families of the martyred soldiers of Pulwama terror attack.
"While nation is mourning the death of valiant soldiers in line of duty for our security, I do not find this time appropriate for any festivals or celebrations which are irrelevant to present circumstances. I had decided to call it quits from show , but later decided that, if selected by academy to perform, I will donate the whole amount received to families of martyred soldiers , " said Aaditay Bhanu whose announcement on social media is drawing thumping applause from all quarters .
His team of 10 artists performing in the play have welcomed their director's gesture and acknowledged his sentiments and spirits.
Aditya Bhanu has also shot a letter to Culture academy expressing his desire to acknowledge his group's amount to be debited in the account of martyr welfare fund.
He also appealed academy to rise to the occasion as an institution of highest merit in art and culture to hold the spirit of nationalism by re-thinking the decision of holding the festival in present pressing situation where soldiers are losing lives in the state and war like situation is hovering over the nation.
"Since the dramas are being held in Dogri for the first time in Jammu, it is high time for participating Dogras to rise to their spirit of sentiment and cultural ethnicity and play their part towards the soldiers guarding the frontiers and putting down their lives for nation," he appealed.
