SCL 10+2 call on Governor, demand regularisation

Jammu, Feb 27: Senior 10+2 Contractual Lecturers organised a press conference today demanding regularization since long time as per "Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010", a legislature passed for the regularization of all the contractual/Consolidated/Ad-hoc employees after rendering seven years of service. Contractual lecturers' in a single voice said that series of meetings have been conducted by the administration regarding our regularization. The case for regularization is on the final stage. Senior 10+2 Contractual Lecturers met governor today in Raj Bhawan, Jammu. They apprised him about their case. One of the lecturer said that almost all the formalities have been completed regarding our regularization. They also said that they have completed their seven years of service and deserve for regularization. He added that some of the 10+2 Contractual Lecturers those who have completed their seven years of services have been disengaged by the department without any reason. The senior Lecturers appealed the hon'ble Governor for the early redressal of their genuine demand that is regularization because they are suffering since long time.
