Ankush, Reena, Suresh participate in National workshop at Delhi | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: Sri Aurbindo Society, Puducherry, an NGO conducted a 4-days National level workshop and felicitation program at Delhi for the teachers from 18 states across the country. Out of 15 lakh teachers, 600 governemt teachers were selected for their innovative ideas in teaching with zero investment including 32 teachers from the state of J&K. Out of 24 participants from J&K, three govt teachers namely Ankush Dev Singh, Reena Sharma and Suresh Kumari represented Education Zone Jourian. The 4-day programme was conducted under Zero Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives (ZIIEI) in association with HDFC Bank. On the valedictory day, Ministry of HRD Govt. of India also felicitated the teachers for sharing their innovative ideas with zero investment, at Dogra Hall, IIT Delhi. On the occasion, books containing innovative ideas of teachers from 18 states were also launched. Among other dignitaries, Mr Sambhrant, Director Education, Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry was also present. ZEO Jourian Madan Lal Sharma appreciated the efforts of Ankush Dev Singh, Reena Sharma and Suresh Kumari and congratulated them for their achievements. Pertinently ZIIEI is a mass scale teacher outreach initiative started in 2015 by Sri Aurobindo Society as part of its nation wide education transformation programme "Rupantar".
