ASCOMS Employees Association to go on indefinite strike from July 29

Jammu, July 25: ASCOMS Employees Welfare Association Batra Hospital in an emergent meeting held under the chairmanship of Association President in which it has been decided that from 29.7.2019 association will go on indefinite strike as from the last more than two months the association has served strike notice as management has not implemented minimum wages which otherwise state govt has revised since November 2017 and even this was also brought in the notice of labour department but they also not taken any interest and management also failed to implement the award passed by the labour court more over there are no any wage scale fixed for employees . That association had gave strike notice to the management but more than two months has been passed but management did not came forward for an amicable settlement of employees grievances and now under compelled circumstances we are going on indefinite strike and it is regretted that general public will suffer due to the arrogant attitude of the management but keeping in view the common public emergency service as will be remain out of the preview of strike.
The meeting is attended by union President Ravinder Singh Slathiya, Sachin Bali General Secretary Suresh Raina, Sudesh Sharma , Rakesh Chouhan, Bihari Lal,Ramesh, Yashpal, Chamil Singh and others.
