JDA takes possession over 28 Kannals land, FIR registered against accused

JAMMU, Aug 26: Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Tehsildar Bahu Shurti Bhardwaj along with Police took possession over JDA land on Monday and registered an FIR against accused under section 447, 379 RPC at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station.
As per details, JDA officials along with others rushed on spot after getting information that one person namely Mannu Gupta allegedly removed the Board of JDA which were installed at 'Appu Ghar' after getting direction from Court in their favour. "On Monday the team took possession over 28 kannals of the government land and installed its Boards and security guard deployed to take care of the land," details states.
Later, a written complaint was filed at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu against the Mannu Gupta who allegedly removed the JDA boards. A case FIR no 73/2019 under section 447A, 379 RPC lodged at PS Bagh-e-Bahu.
Confirming the action, Tehsildar Shruti Bhardwaj told that a team of JDA and Police officials went on the spot on took possession over government land and tents were also set up there. She further added that an FIR was also lodged in this regard.
