Marriage season picks up following restoration of normalcy in Kishtwar District

Jammu, Aug 26: As peace return in Kishtwar District with the opening of schools, colleges, government offices-with market open at its full-though with low fanfare as costumers are away giving sleepless nights to business community-the chorus for restoration of mobile services in peaceful areas of Kishtwar District goes louder as Sarpanches from remote Bhunzwah block of Kishtwar District today approach the office of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar requesting him for restoration of mobile services in the Bhunzwah block as it falls in the area where there is no landline connection and people are facing lot of inconvenience to reach out to their near and dears settled outside Kishtwar District or studying in different parts of the country.
As per the details available with "Early Times" a group of Sarpanches and Ex Sarpanches from Bhunzwah today called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in his office chamber and inform him about the plight and sufferings of the local people of remote Bhunzwah area in absence of non availability of mobile or landline connectivity added the area having population of over 25000 had non landline.
The group of public representatives while sharing their point of view informs that even after more than 70 years of independence is lacking far behind added that they are hoping the "Ache Din" of Modi Government will reach to them-as the area is still lacking far behind in terms of development with no proper roads, schools lacking infrastructure, doctors not available in health centers.
They said that they are telling the people that nothing has left for them in Article 370 and 35 A as there area continuously being ignored and said that decision could have made an impact on rich people and not on the poor people and urged upon the administration to at least make the mobile numbers of Sarpanches and Panches of the Bhunzwah so that people could establish the contact with people working outside the J&K and in its different parts including Ladakh.
Speaking to "Early Times" Sarpanch Khalid Hussain said that people are peaceful in Bhunzwah area following the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A as no protest has been reported from the area and peace continue to prevail in the area following the government decision.
He said that though people did not held any protest over the issue of Article 370 & 35 A, but continues unnecessary communication blockade could force the people to choose the agitating path & urged the government and the administration to restore the mobile connectivity at an earliest.
Meanwhile the wedding season has started picking up with hundreds of weddings reportedly took place in different parts of Kishtwar District in last over one week.
The vehicles could be seen decorated outside the decoration shops for the bridges and grooms with people attending the marriage parties flourishing at its joyfulness with people blessing the newly wedded couples.
