District police organizes symposium on police martyrs' bravery

Jammu, Oct 17: District Police Reasi today organized a symposium on "Remembering the bravery and valour of J&K police martyrs" at recreation hall District Police Lines Reasi, in which the students drawn from different Schools of district Reasi participated.
The programme was organised by Mumtaz Ali Bhatti Dy SP DAR Reasi. At the outset of the programme, all the participating students and teachers along with Mumtaz Ali Bhatti Dy. SP DAR Reasi visited Police Martyrs gallery at the conference hall of DPL Reasi where rich tribute was paid to the martyrs of J&K Police.
The students were briefed about the bravery and valour of martyrs and were requested to make these martyrs as their role model. The participating students spoke in length about the contribution of J&K Police in nation building and remembered the martyrdom of Dy.SP Aman Thakur, Dy.SP Nasir Pandit, SI Mohd Ashraf Dar, SI Feroz Dar, SI Imtiaz Mir, Sgct Kamal Kishore and others.
Those who participated in the symposium include Kapish Bali and Sumit Sharma of Govt. Boys HSS Reasi, Miss Marinal Gourav of Govt. Girls HSS Reasi, Neha Bhagat and Sunali Sharma of Gurukul Public HSS Reasi, Arya Nanda of Presentation Convent High School Reasi, Vidushi Bhagat and Adita Sharma of Navodya Vidyalya Karua, Sumir Atri and Anjum Toiba of Govt. Higher School Sirla.
Shiv Kumar SIngh Chohan, Addl.SP Reasi who chief guest on the occasion while speaking, he appreciated the participants and spoke in the detail about the bravery and valour of J&K Police.
