Jammu, May 7: The imposition of Section 144 in the Red-zone Jammu district is seemingly only for commoners, while the politicians of saffron party are free to hold functions, openly violating the physical distancing norms.
A function was organized in the Mahila Morcha headquarter of saffron party, where a function was organized in which the newly nominated president assumed the charge of president. She could be seen being felicitated by two other woman politicians, while physical distancing norms of Union Territory administration have been tossed to air.
“It is quite unfortunate that despite imposition of Section 144 in the already declared Red-zone district Jammu, the politicians have been holding functions, whether small in size, which is in total violation of the laid guidelines of the MHA”, an politician said, adding that it exposes the duality of the saffron party, which is otherwise portraying itself as following the norms. |
