SIF expresses concern over lack of patient care in hospitals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 24: All J&K PoJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum (SIF) convened a meeting here today through video conferencing. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Adv Amrik Singh and joined by Surjit Singh general secretary of Forum. In the meeting members take up the issue of deteriorating system in the Government Hospitals where the patients other than COVID-19 pandemic are dying unattended because the doctors and para-medical staff are busy in taking care of the Corona patients. The members said that the patients which are suffering from other multiple diseases are facing health care problems. The Forum said that no doubt there is acute shortage of doctors and other para-medical staff but there is alternative of giving re-employment to the retired doctors and para-medical staff. The Forum appealed to Lt Governor to make some alternative arrangements or to appoint a commission so that the precious lives of human being could be saved. The members who joined the video conference include Councilor Inder Singh Sooden, Paramjit Singh ex-Councilor, Nasib Singh, Prof KD Singh, Kuldeep Singh Kuku and others. |
