JAMMU, May 24: In order to appreciate the noble work of NGO Inspire Foundation, Deepak Women's Development Society and Daughters of Panun Kashmir during the past more than two months of lockdown period in every nook and corner of Jammu, a felicitation function was organized here today at Patoli. The programme was organized by senior BJP leader Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, Rakesh Koul vice president District Anantnag and councilor Rakesh Koul, and spokesperson District Kulgam Vijay Raina (sarpanch) in which General Secretary (org) UT of J&K Ashok Koul was chief guest. Ashok Koul honoured and felicitated the Corona Warriors who have been working tirelessly for the poor and needy since last two months. Mementos and gifts were presented by Ashok Koul to Daughters of Panun Kashmir , youth wing of Panun Kashmir, Virender Raina , president Panun Kashmir, master Deepanshu Kisroo, a young volunteer, Sandeep Kisroo, Kamna Raina, Rakesh Koul, Vijay Raina, Sanjay Bhat Sarpanch Rajpura and other prominent people. While speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul appreciated and lauded the social services rendered by them in this hard time. It is pertinent to mention here that 1500 dry ration kits and essentials items were distributed among poor and needy families out of which 275 ration kits and masks were contributed by Rakesh Koul in his personal capacity. |
