Jammu, May 24: Continuing its efforts to provide relief to the poor and needy during this COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, the Serve the Poor-NGO distributed around 300 ration kits at various areas of Jammu district. As per press release, the members of NGO including Dheeraj Singh Jamwal, Harjeet Singh visited various areas including Nath Colony, Shomali Mohalla, Amar Colony, Raipur Satwari, Kunjwani, Rani Bagh, Hakkal, Gadigarh, Bishnah, Chatha Pind, Jakh Belicharana and distributed ration kits. Around 300 ration kits have been distributed door to door till date. Besides, the members donated dry ration and special items for EID like milk, Sugar, Seveyian for 70 Muslim families at Rani Bagh. It also provided choco malt and biscuits to children as well as medicines. Others members, who were active in this social cause included Rakesh Kumar, Dalbir Saini, Sanjay Kumar and Dr Goutam Singh Kharwal. |
