JAMMU, Jun 16: Department of Education, GDC Akhnoor organized an online quiz competition on “Development of Education System in India” under the superintendence of prominent principal Dr. Namarta. To encourage the students of 6th semester to widen their knowledge and prepare them for the new mode of Examination suggested by University of Jammu due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
130 participants of different colleges attempted the quiz wherein RimaniThappa of GDC Samba, Rahat Mir and OrwahBanoo of GDC Kishtwar bagged first position and second position was clinched by RabiaNisar of GDC Kishtwar whereas 3rd position was shared by Arun Sharma, Bal Krishan of GDC Akhnoor and Aasia Farooq Lone of GDC for women, Sopore. E-Certificate of appreciation was issued to those students who scored more than 60 percent marks.
