Spike with 61 fresh positive cases, 499 active positive, 82 recovered in north Kashmir

BARAMULLA, June 24: Out of 186, there was a spike again with 61 fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 499 active positive cases, 1432 are cumulative, while good news has also come as 82 have recovered and 20 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir till date.
According to the district wise positive cases as on June 24, 2020 (Wednesday), In Baramulla district, there were 37 fresh positive cases including 01 traveler and 36 others reported today, total no of cumulative cases are 670, active positive cases are 322, and cumulative recovered are 337 including of 63 cases that have recovered today, 14 deaths including of today have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 22 fresh positive cases have been reported including 02 travelers and 20 others today , 482 are cumulative cases, 133 are active positive cases, 344 are cumulative recovered including 13 as on date, and 05 deaths have occurred so far. In Bandipora district, 02 fresh positive cases were reported today, whereas 280 are cumulative cases, 44 are active positive, 235 are cumulative recoveries including of 06 as on date and 01 death have occurred so far. At the same time 82 covid-19 patients have recovered today across north Kashmir, according to a media bulletin.
Some locals telephoned early times and said that, with regard to Covid-19, people of north Kashmir have taken a sigh of relief today, when 82 have recovered from this pandemic disease, but at the same time there was a spike again in the fresh positive cases.
From past many days the number of positive patients had declined, but today there again spurt in the cases which has to some extent become a cause of worry.
“At the same time, cumulative positive cases have crossed the mark of above thousand with 1432, and active positive cases too with 499 till date”, said Manzoor Hussain from Delina Baramulla.
