B2V3: ADDC tours far off Marwah, Warwan Blocks

KISHTWAR, Oct 2: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik today concluded his three day tour of far flung Marwah and Warwan blocks and launched road improvement works ahead of Back to Village program. During the tour, the ADDC visited PHC Afti and Community Health Centre Marwah and inspected the laboratory room, labour room, medicine store besides the facilities being provided to the patients. He directed the medical staff to be punctual and perform their services with dedication.
While inspecting the pace of work on 50-bedded Hospital at Marwah, it was apprised that ground floor has been completed and column structure work of first floor is in full swing. He also inspected the work of Bhatta Kadarna bridge. The ADDC also inaugurated the blacktopping work of Guzar to Basmina road (12 km length) and congratulated the public of Warwan for getting better road connectivity. Earlier, he presided over the block divas/ Youm-e-block camp at the block head quarter Marwah. The programme witnessed the participation of huge number of locals with the strict adherence of COVID19 Protocols such as the maintenance of Social distancing and use of Masks etc.
After listening to the demands and grievances of the people, the ADDC redressed some of the them on the spot, while rest were referred to the concerned authorities for immediate redress.
He informed the general public that Rs.10 lakh has been sanctioned for each Panchayat for the development works during B2V3 besides Rs. 20,000 has been earmarked for purchase of sports kit. He called upon all the district officers to work in close laison with PRIs to identify the feasible works in each panchayats and further document , execute and complete them before start of the B2V3 on 2nd Oct 2020.
