NDS organises multi-lingual e-Goshthi

Jammu, Oct 19: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) organised a multi-lingual Laghu Kahani “e-Goshthi” which was presided over by AmarJeet Kaur “Neer” a well-known Punjabi poetess whereas it was planned and coordinated by Capt Lalit Sharma Convener NDS.
The proceedings were compered by Yash Pal Yash Mahamantri NDS. Total five stories were read in the Goshthi. Kahani “Gyatri Niwas” by Dr Sobhagya Vardhan highlighted the importance of joint family system which has respectful place for the old members of the family whereas nuclear families have given us the concept of Vridh Ashrams.
Dr Kalpana Gupta”s story titled “Yadon ki Khiddki”places the “Dharam ke Riahte” even above blood relations. She beautifully expressed in her story that when blood relations rejected, the aggrieved developed deep bondage and obtained affection from the social relationship.
Dr Vijay Puri’s Dogri Kahani “Corona De Shikar” reflects the domestic, social and medical dimensions of this pandemic being experienced by the patients. Dr Rajni Malhotra narrated her story “Sachi Khani”in verses which talks of family migration from village to city and its bondage. Dr Shambu Ram “Pyasa” in his Dogri kahani “Chachu” portraits a un-married and uneducated person who faces the agony in various situations because of being illiterate. There is a beautiful message that as to why education is very important in today’s era. Amar Jeet Kaur “Neer” in her Punjabi kahani titled “Manas Ki Jaat - Sab Iikke Pehchaneo” high lights the birth of female child in the families and perceptions made all around. But her projection in her story glorifies the daughters as assets for the family and the society.
Advocate Harish Kaila President NDS while describing the “e-Kahani goshthi” a grand success said that the stories reflect the values, ethics and plight of the society and the people and enable us to introspect ourselves for better perspectives.
Amar Jeet Kaur “Neer” as President of the Meet critically appreciated each “kahani” read and offered her comments. She said that a successful story should be probing, analytical, descriptive with clear inferences so that a penetrating message is received by the reader for wellbeing of the society as a whole.
The multi-lingual “e-Laghu Goshthi” concluded with vote of thanks by Yash Pal Yash General Secretary, NDS.
