JAMMU, Nov 22: From a remote village near border township of Poonch to one of the top education consultants in India, the story of Maqsood Ahmed, Managing Director and founder of Nizamia Education Group (NEG) is inspiration for today's generation.
From a humble background, Maqsood had struggled a lot to reach to a position where he is guiding thousands of students every year to pursue their dream of getting admission in best professional colleges in India.
Students not only from India, but other South Asian countries and Africa have taken advantage of the NEG platform to pursue their dream.
Nizamia Education Group made its mark in the field of counseling since its founding in 2012. After getting encouraging results, Group decided to expand the idea into the North-East part of India and the state of Bihar. Since then had shaped the future of more than 10,000 students.
Maqsood Ahmed is widely known for his unconditional counselling service to students. Especially for those students who are living in regions where students don't have the proper facility, infrastructure, and many other important factors to continue their further education.
He is the founder of Nizamia Education Group, Managing Director of Nizamia Consultancy Pvt Ltd, President of Nizamia Education Trust and Co-Chairperson of Education Committee of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.
Maqsood Ahmed has been awarded "Youngest Edupreneur of India" by N.C.S at Indian Ethnic Fashion Show. Along with this, he has been awarded the ICONIC ACHIEVER- YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR by Kotler at Marketing Summit 2.0.
"Guiding the students is our motto. The hardships I have faced during student days was the main reason behind group's inception", said Ahmed.
"Our mission is to tap the talent in every state and give them a platform to shine. Our focus in militancy infested J&K and North East. I have personally faced lot of hardships in getting education due to lack of guidance and coaching centres. We are constantly working to increase the horizon for education for all students", said Ahmed.
