| ANTF nabs interstate narco smugglers Seizes Codeine Phosphate liquid, proxyvon capsules | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 22: J&K Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) nabbed interstate smugglers and seized huge quantity of Psychotropic drugs from their possession in Jammu. The ANTF a specialized unit of JKP to check rising menace of drugs achieved another success today after it foiled a bid to smuggling of huge quantity of psychotropic substances including codeine phosphate and spasmo proxyvon plus capsules being smuggled from Panipat to Srinagar and nabbed three smugglers. “ANTF received specific information that a truck bearing Registration number PB10HB-3586 is coming from New Delhi to Jammu and shall be moving further to Kashmir Valley carring consignment of the drugs. ANTF swung into action intercepted the truck, during its search 6700 bottles of Welcyrex/Wineirx Codeine Phosphate and 18000 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus concealed under the blanket rolls seized by the team”, ANTF chief Vinay Sharma told media during a press conference here today. Vinay further said that three persons namely have been arrested in this case. “They have been identified Amit Saxena resident of East Arjun Nagar Delhi, Surjeet Kumar and Rohit both resident of resident of Nawasher Puniab”, he said, adding that Amit Saxena is a Notorious Narco Smuggler of New Delhi and was wanted in many NDPSA cases. “Two days ago, another notorious Narco Dealer of Delhi named Salman has been arrested by ANTF from Delhi. These two back to back arrests of Delhi based Narco dealers are expected to spill the beans about banned Pharmaceutical drug cartel of North India including illeal drug manufacturing Industries”, he said.
