Teachers' conference conducted | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 6: Keeping in view the fact that students' progress in the current academic year was affected by Covid, RMPS conducted a two day open-discussion and brainstorming session for its teachers of Primary and Middle classes on the topic "Innovative Teaching Ideas". The teachers had a fruitful discussion in the session as all of them introduced innovative techniques not only for teaching but also for conducting tests and monitoring the overall progress of the students. The teachers gave stress of a child's overall growth instead of just the academic progress. In view of the National Education Policy, the teachers presented ideas of interdisciplinary learning, group activities and overall growth monitoring techniques to the Director, Principal and In-Charges present during the session. The Director of Shiksha Niketan Family, Rakshin Mengi appreciated the ideas put-forth by the teachers. He also emphasized on a healthier student- teacher relationship. He also said that the students should be encouraged to be independent thinkers for overall growth of not only the individual but also the society. Principal, Ravinder Kour applauded the efforts made by the teachers. She also thanked Rakshin Mengi for his encouraging words and promised to continue work for the betterment of the the students of our school. |
