CIC operators held protest in support of registration of services | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Feb 6: The CIC operators working in the department of RDD&PR since last over 17 years held a strong protest in support of their demand of regularization of their services and called upon the government to issue necessary orders without any further delay. CIC operators today registered a peaceful sit-in-protest at Press Colony Srinagar requesting Lieutenant Governor UT of Jammu & Kashmir on behalf of 172 CIC Operators working in Rural Development Department to intervene into the matter. Speaking on this occasion, the agitating CIC operators said that the erstwhile J&K cabinet had passed proposal for regularization of 172 CIC Operators in 2014 for which the government created 172 posts in 2016 added that one by one case was cleared by High level Empowered Committee of Finance Department J&K in the year 2017. They said that the recommendations given by the Empowered Committee of Finance Department for which the consent from Law was also given, but the government even after 4 years had not issued any formal order for regularization of their services.
