JAMMU, Feb 6: Continuing its staunch support to the protesting farmers, the leaders of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit led by party state president Manish Sahni took out a Kisan Support Rally and joined the dharna with the farmer at Digiana, Jammu today. Sahni warned the ruling dispensation that it should not take the farmers and their movement lightly. The history has remained witness to the fact the entire country has stood up with soldiers and farmers. Sahni said that it was due to the stubbornness of the central government and its dictatorial stance that the external forces are getting an opportunity to interfere in the internal affairs of India. “The Annadatas of this great country, have been on the streets in the biting cold for the last 74 days. Their protest is bound to get sympathy and support from the country and abroad. He said that “despite the assurances of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the talks have not been happening. He further said that about 100 Shiv Sanik’s are ready to move to the Delhi border for encouragement and support. On this occasion President Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Ramesh Gupta, Secretary Raj Singh, Balwant Singh, Bhuri Singh, Mangu Ram, Geeta Lakhotra, Bhuri Singh, Rajat Lahoria, Dimple, Pawan Singh, Sushil Kumar and many others were present. |
