JAMMU, Feb 6: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Sohanjana Jammu organized one day dharna under the presidentship of Paviter Singh President JKMEF Block Sohanjana, Jammu to highlight the burning and genuine problems of medical employees who are fighting with the world wide pandemic Covid -19 . DPC of all the categories pending for the last four years which is supposed to be held twice in a year, despite of repeated representations and deputations nothing is done so far. For employees who are dealing with the Covid -19 are compelled to protest for their genuine demands. DPC Should be clear at par with the Govt Medical College / Drug and Food Organization on the pattern of executive order passed by the administrative department till the SRO-20 is not amended. Those employees who lost their life while fighting Covid -19 are deprived from the compensation / insurance announced by the UT Govt which demoralized the spirit of the employees. Release the pending salary of the Female Multi Purpose Health Workers which is due from the last 5months and they are facing starvations. Addressing dharna Sushil Sudan, S.Parfulat Singh President and Gen. Sec. JKMEF and S.Harpal Singh President Jammu Kashmir X-Rays Tech. Employees Association urged the UT Govt to consider the demand of the medical employees at the earliest otherwise they would be compelled to launch further strong courses of action.
