JAMMU, Feb 6: The State Health Agency (SHA) J&K today held a workshop with the registered private hospitals of Jammu for the empanelment under AB-PMJAY-SEHAT. The scheme in convergence with Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY) provides Health Insurance Cover of Rs 5lakh/family/year to all the residents of UT of Jammu and Kashmir including serving and retired employees. The detailed deliberations were held with private health care providers regarding their empanelment during a meeting chaired by CEO SHA, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin. He urged the representatives of hospitals to come forward and join this scheme. He assured the participants that SHA, J&K shall provide all possible assistance/facilitation during and after the empanelment. Notably, more than 30 non-empaneled private health-care providers participated in the workshop, The government of Jammu and Kashmir recently launched SEHAT Scheme which will cover around 15 lakh households, not covered under AB-PMJAY. The same benefits as existing under AB-PMJAY shall be extended to the rest of the residents. |
