Bhartiya Janta Party pays tributes to Arun Jaitley

JAMMU, Aug 24: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) unit of Jammu West paid tributes to former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his second Punya Tithi (Death Anniversary) and remembered the works done by him for the overall development of the country. The program was mainly attended by Former State President BJP Sat Sharma (CA).
The program was also attended by Prabhari Rekha Mahajan,Former District President Ayodhya Gupta, Corporators Pramod Kapahi, Sanjay Baru, Sunita Gupta and Suneet Raina and Mandal President Keshav Chopra. District General Secretaries Advocate Rajesh Gupta and Advocate Karan Sharma conducted the proceedings of the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma remembered the role of Jaitley for taking up India to new heights. He said that besides being an eminent lawyer of the country, Jaitley was an extraordinary person.
He stated that many historical decisions including demonetization, introduction of GST were brought under his supervision as Finance Minister which changed the scenario of the country. Sharma also stated that Jaitley's love for Jammu and Kashmir cannot be forgotten and many major projects in J&K were his initiative which changed the developmental infra in J&K. Sharma also stated that every activist of the party still misses his leadership a lot and his vision was amongst one of those that made BJP reach heights across the country.
He also said that none other politician in opposition stood in debate in front of Jaitley when he spoke in Parliament which shows how perfectionist he was in every stream. The program was also attended by District and Mandal office bearers including Morcha Presidents and General Secretaries.
