Govt orders detachments of academic persons in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Aug 24: Taking strong note of attachments of academic persons viz teachers and masters in the office of Chief Education Officer Kishtwar and in the office of Zonal Education Offices of Kishtwar District, the department of school education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered immediate detachment of all such attachments.
As per the details available with Early Times, J&K Government vide order No. 1378 Edu of 2021 Dated 23-8-2021 has stated that "It is reported that a good number of academic person(s)/teaching staff has been attached/deployed in the office of Chief Education Officer, Kishtwar and Zonal Education Officer, Kishtwar from time to time through the medium of orders/communications, due to which the academics of the Institution is suffering badly. The said act has been viewed seriously by the authorities. It has also come to notice that these officials are not properly handling and taking over their charges" read the order issued by Deputy Secretary to the Government, school education department on behalf of Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education department.
The order further reads that "it is therefore, ordered that all such academic persons who have attached/deployed in the office of Chief Education Officer, Kishtwar and Zonal Education Officer, Kishtwar are deemed to have been detached with the directions to report their original place(s) of posting immediately".
The concern Drawing and Disbursement Officers has been directed to ensure that "not to draw the salaries" of any attached/Deployed academic persons/ teaching staff till he/she join his/her original place of posting.
