‘Leaders involved in seat-sharing discussions with NC responsible for Cong’s defeat’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 27: While the fact-finding team of the Congress party has started its work to identify reasons for the party’s historic defeat, official social media groups of the party are flooded with statements against leaders who were involved in dialogue on the National Conference on pre-poll alliance.
Reports said that in a social media group titled “Official JKPCC and DCC”, many young leaders blamed seniors for the disgraceful defeat of the party in the Assembly elections.
“Those involved in the discussion on seat-sharing were only worried about their own seats instead of protecting the interests of the party”, a leader posted in the group.
He observed that the seat-sharing with the National Conference has benefitted only four to five leaders while it proved suicidal for the overall party.
