Jammu, Oct 22: Shashi Abrol, one of the seven people killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, was cremated in a sombre ceremony here on Tuesday.
“Our family has been shattered. We want a job to support our family,” his wife, Ruchi Abrol told reporters. She also asked for help with their children’s education.

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited the residence of Dr Shahnawaz Dar, who was killed in a terror attack in Ganderbal on Sunday.
Abdullah visited Dar’s residence in Nayidgam village in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Investigators have rounded up more than 40 suspects for questioning as part of investigations into the deadly terror attack at Gagangir in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir in which seven persons were killed, officials said on Tuesday.
Police officials believe that the assailants had meticulously planned the attack and were able to execute their designs due to the support of the terrorist associate network.

SRINAGAR, Oct 22: The security grid at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday went on high alert mode after a hoax call about a possible bomb threat, officials said.
The officials said a call was received at the Srinagar airport about a bomb in the Indigo flight that had arrived here from Mumbai.
The authorities carried out a thorough search of the flight which was scheduled to take off for Delhi via Jammu at around 5.20 pm.

Srinagar, Oct 22: A Physical Education Teacher (PET) at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Ajas in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district was attached following allegations of his involvement in the physical assault on female students.
