SRINAGAR, July 10: The Committee on Public Undertakings (PUC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly which met here today chairmanship of MLA Mr. Muhammad Sharief Niaz, undertook stock of the performance of the State Finance Corporation and asked them to furnish the detailed report with regard to pending loan cases for uneducated youth of the State along with the list of defaulters and recovery of loan statements as on date to the Committee for it scrutiny.
Legislators, Mr. G. N. Monga, Mr. Ali Muhammad Dar, Mr. Javid Ahmad Dar, Mr. Jugal Kishore, Mr. Jagdish Raj Sapolia, Peer Aafaq Ahmad, Syed Basharat Ahmad Bukhari, Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani and Mr. Abdul Gaffar Sofi gave their valuable suggestions in making the working of SFC more viable and result oriented. The panel discussed matters related to whether the Corporation has extended loan facilities to non-state subjects, if so, the details of the said loanees and whether they have set up their own units within the State or outside the State. | Manohar convenes public grievance redressal camp in Billawar | | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 10: Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma convened a Public grievance redressal camp at PWD Rest House Billawar today.
ADC Kathua Rohit Khajuria, SDM Billawar Vikas Gupta, SDPO Basohli Rafiq Manhas, Superintendent Engineer PDD, XEN's of PHE, PWD and tehsil level officers were present in the grievance camp.
People from different parts of the tehsil met the Minister and apprised him with their problems and demands. Panchs and Sarpanchs also projected the problems of the people of their respective panchayats.

The indoor stadium would be first of its kind in the State, given the facilities and amenities proposed and it would be completed within a span of 18 months. It would be built at a cost of Rs. 18 crore in two phases, out of which Rs. Six crore have already been released.
