Jammu, July 19 : The regular power cuts in Jammu in the scorching heat and lack of development in the Patnitop and Sanasar led the people move out of state to enjoy their weekends. The people of the Jammu city, especially the businessmen and Shopkeeper community, who usually go to Patnitop and Sanasar to enjoy the weekends, as the market in Jammu use to be closed on Sunday.

SRINAGAR, July 19 : In order to further strengthen the Panchayati raj System in Jammu and Kashmir, the State level High Powered Committee headed by Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khanday discussed and approved the Annual Plan 2013-14 under Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (RGPSA) to the tune of Rs 55.50 crore for funding.

SRINAGAR, July 19 : The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry would provide funds to the State government for establishment of modern Drug Testing Laboratory of International standard at Srinagar and asked the State government to identify alternate land for the purpose to create necessary infrastructure well in time.

Jammu : After yesterday's firing which led to death of four persons, BSF troops today vacated its Dharam camp and handed the facility over to police. Troops at BSF camp in Dharam have been moved to Battalion area in Ramban district and the facility has been handed over to police forces today, a BSF officer said.
