PK gears up for Homeland Day on Dec 28

Jammu, Oct 14: Panun Kashmir (PK) today organised an activists meet to chalk out the modalities for the Homeland Day which is obserevd every year on 28th December to reaffirm the pledge to strive for carving out the Homeland with the union territory status on the north and east of the river Vitasta in Kashmir valley as envisaged in the Margdarshan resolution adopted by the entire Kashmiri Pandit community unanimously on this day in 1991 in Jammu.
Addressing the activists, advisory council members and the prominent citizens Kuldeep Raina, General Secretary, Panun Kashmir said,"28th December is a day of reaffirmation for the entire religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community to carry on the struggle for the reclamation of our ancestral land on our own terms with the free flow of the Indian constitution in Kashmir so that the dignity, honor and rights of our persecuted community are restored in letter and spirit. Adhoc measures that don't address the genocide and holocaust of the Kashmiri pandits are not going to empower the community and those who are misguiding the community are misguiding the community and facilitating the enemies of the community. Nothing short of homeland will satisfy the persecuted Kashmiri Pandits."
He further said," Organizational cadres have geared up to celebrate the Homeland Day on 28th December will all vigour and vitality. All community members are appealed to contribute within their capacity as they have been doing in the past keep the momentum of homeland struggle going so that reversal of genocide takes place once for all."
Speaking on the occasion Pt Omkar Nath Trisal, veteran freedom fighter and member advisory, Panun Kashmir exhorted the entire Kashmiri Pandit Community," to participate in this sacred mission on 28th December to reinforce the strength of the Kashmiri Pandit nationalist cause. He appealed to the women folk and youth to ensure their participation.
