The statements of the politicians on various subjects, incidences and ideologies least educate a harmony, adjustability or nationality. One of the old Congress (I) leaders has justified the allegation leveled on BJP & RSS by Sushil Kumar Shinde a Congress member at Jaipur not as Home Minister as the government has nothing to do with the congress convocation to officially elevate Rahul Gandhi to the post of Vice-President.
The Congress (I) is following all those post- independence ideologies which were settled by Jawaharlal Nehru. In Pre-independence era the AICC had a person in Mahatma Gandhi though not member of this party, to run their functioning revolving around national independence with the main object of attaining personal political gains by a particular lobby which ousted twice elected party president Subhash Chander Bose who later become national darling as Neta ji.
A senior Congress (I) leader, Digvijay Singh in a TV interview has alleged the RSS Golvalkar to plan to attack Muslims in particular places. He told about National Indian Congress who fought against RSS, Muslim League and Hindu Maha Sabha. He wanted to prove secularism their ideology.
Such utterances are exclusively damaging the society harmony creating a wedge between two particular communities. The facts are far off such statements and are arbitrary.
The National Indian Congress was formed by a British lady as club turned to the meeting point of those journalist leaders who had the fire for the national independence. Among them most were from Arya Samaj, Hindu Maha Sabha and other Hindu/ Muslim organizations including Hindu Sikh Naujawaan Sabha. A long chain of the prominent scattered leaders came together under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. They were also known as Congressmen but continued to be with parental organizations kept on the back burner.
The individuality in this political party went in for certain such policy adoption which shattered the union of the Indian civil society. Among such policies, some are worth reference to find the historical facts.
The youth of Turkey had ousted their Sultan who, in a war, had lost major part of Middle East of Africa and Europe of his kingdom with which the "Khilafat" agitation died. The Indian Muslims were violently in support of this agitation treating British responsible of Turkey loss. Congress indulged in this agitation defusing the earlier active national political agitation. This degraded status of those Muslim leaders who were not in support of this agitation favouring national independence agitation. This indulgence of Congress with "Khilafat" dead struggle dragged communalism in the national secular setup.
The "Violence of Mopalayo" is an historical fact intimates that Muslims in Malabar, Punjab, Bengal and frontier had killed many Hindus including forcing conversions, dishonouring women, looting and burning their properties. The congress remained silent on this massacre but in its "Young India" Mahatma Gandhi said of one forced Hindu conversion. Congress remained out rightly silent but started donation for Muslims of those vicinities. This further deviated Muslim-Hindu communities on the opposite directions to damage the national independence struggle.
To revive the failed Muslim "Khilafat" struggle the prominent Muslim leaders Ali brothers taking British responsible for the fall of Turkey Sultan congress in leadership of Mahatam Gandhi joined hands with these brothers to invite Amir of Afghanistan to attack India. Shri Shriniwas Shastri, Shri C. Y. Chintamani (Editor Leader Prayag) and Shri C. F. Andrews a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi had openly admitted that the speeches and articles of Mahatam Gandhi disclose the affiliation with the Ali brothers about the invitation to Amir Afghanistan to attack India. The British intelligence spotted the intrigue and British snubbed this conspiracy.
This has no space of arguments that Congress had opted changing the Indian ruler from British to Amir Afghanistan. At the same time Congress has not similar feelings for the "Azad Hind Fauz" raised by Neta Subhash Chander Bose.
In 1924 Mahatma Gandhi lead congress had manipulated in Sindh to ban "Satyarath Prakash" a religious book of Arya Samaj. The nationalist Arya Samaj members like Lala Lajpat Rai and Swami Shardanand continued congress sponsored anti-British agitations. One can't deny the society reformation done by this organization like re-marriage of the widow, effort to form a casteless society without offending other communities. Congress had created another void between two communities.
Congress had a dubious role in division of Sind province by detaching it from Bombay (Mumbai). The Hindu in minority at Karachi, Sakkhar, Shikarpur and Sind were extensively damaged. The congress remained silent on Muslim excesses but the nationalist Muslims were extensively troubled.
Congress didn't agree to participate in 1929 round table conference and started "Namak Andolan", 70000 people were jailed, and many had borne the British excesses.
The futile effort of the congress made them to only send Mahatma Gandhi to participate in the said conference. Then MacDonald was the England Prime Minister and Labour Party Ministers participated in this conference. Congress agreed for separate elections on religious basis. The Muslims and Hindus had to go separately for elections to form Indian state governments under the British rule.
Through Act 01 of 1935 from 1st April 1937 the states were provided with separate powers. The rights of British were secure and the Indians were to form the political governing body. The congress
refused but later joined this system when the minority communities have formed and started functioning of their governing bodies. The congress didn't include the elected Muslims of Muslim League but inducted Muslims of their on party had offended the Muslim community. In 1939 the congress quitted the governing thus under Art.93 the states went under the British Governor rule. The entire governing remained with the Muslim community and British sidelining the majority community.
Lord Linlithgo announced a government policy accepting the resolution of Muslim League to listen all the political parties at the time of any decision made for India. At the same time the world war theaters were open and the congress was in one or the other statements opposing this war. The Muslim League started inducting maximum Muslim in the Army to ensure their strength at the time of Indian partition but the Congress forbade Hindu youth to join Army. Sensing the Muslim League intrigue Hindu Maha Sabha in the interest of the nation motivated Hindu youth to join Army. Finding Hindu recruitment in Army congress accepting three British conditions endorsed this recruitment.
A lobby within the Congress party had self-centered ideology sensing which the Muslim League had parted in 1929 and the creation of the Pakistan was ensured. In the post-Independence period individuality of the congress leaders had pushed back Mahatma Gandhi and took this political party as own property, brought those state rulers along who had supported British Empire attaining some titles bestowed by British. Slowly but surely the dynastic rule and lusty bureaucrats surrounded the Central politics settling the governing system. This has thrown the nation to chaos and democracy a dream to feel. Congress has attained this ruling on the thousand and thousand human corpses in secular disguise.
The precious life losses have not ended as the weak central governments bounded by the individual vested interests, weak decision making will, fake secular ideology, clinched with dynastic families and far from the democracy have opened plenty space for across the border Muslim fanatic and fundamentalist leaders with Pakistan support to bleed Indian civil society. This entire system requires drastic changes without fail and delay to protect nation and its pride.
