| Fake militant group arrested | | | Emroz Suri
Rajouri, Jan 28: Budhal Police claimed to have arrested a group of cheats who run an extortion mafia, by posing as terrorists and threatening locals with fake weapons. As per sources, a case was registered in police station Budhal under FIR number 102/2012 under section 457 and 382 RPC against three people namely Mohammad Ayub son of Mohammad Amin resident of Chakli, Raj Mohammad son of Gulla resident of Gadyoke.The FIR was registered following complaint of Master Mohammad Bashir that some militants demanded money from him at gun point and also added that one person among them was a local who was known to him. While investigating this case police developed specific clues and now has claimed to arrest three persons who used to threaten people on gun point posing as militants. Those arrested have been identified as Zakir Hussain son of Khadam Shah resident of Kotdhara who has been arrested few days back from Rajouri, Mohammad Saber son of Ghulam Qader resident of Budhal who has been arrested from Jammu and the third one is Abdul Majid Khan son of Mohammad Yusuf resident of Gadyoke who has been arrested from Budhal area. An official confirmed the arrest of the three fake militants. |
