Ramnagar, Jan 28: Youth Congress unit Ramnagar led by General Secretary R S Pathania today held a protest demonstration at Rani Park here against alleged disproportionate assets case against MLA Ramnagar and unfolding of "contractor-politician nexus." While banging the state government for its snail's pace response to the Youth Congress's demand, "supported by all political parties, NGOs, social organisations from Ramnagar," Pathania sought appropriate remedial measures at the earliest. Senior Congress leader, Vinod Khajuria also sought a fact-finding inquiry as to how "MLA Ramnagar has accumulated moveable/immovable property worth crores (nami as well as benami) when his known source of income is only the salary and allowances admissible to an MLA."
"Such a huge property has been raised by him and he has not availed of any loan, finance, instalments from any bank/financial institution," he alleged.
