Srinagar, Jan 28: One person was allegedly killed in clashes between two families in North Kashmir's Baramulla District after a conflict broke out between them over kidnapping of a minor girl, (name withheld).
According to locals of the area clashes broke out between the families of one Shabir Ahmad Parry son of Ali Mohammad resident of Kralpora - Pattan after he was alleged to have kidnapped the minor girl from Dandmoh Chandoosa area. Eye witnesses reported that the two families assaulted each other and during the clashes, Ghulam Mohammad Khanday son of Ghulam Mohi -u -Din Khanday resident of Dandmoh Chandoosa got killed. Police has registered two cases in this regard including a case FIR No 05/13 under section 363,109 PRC against the alleged kidnapper Shabir Ahmad parray and another case FIR No 06/2013 under section 302 RPC in connection with dispute between two families in police station Chandoosa Baramulla. Later, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites after the completion of all legal formalities. |
