Bovine smuggling bid foiled, one held 1/28/2013 10:54:44 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT Udhampur, Jan28: Police today foiling a bid of bovine smuggling rescued 07 bovine animals being transported to Kashmir valley in a Tata Mobile and arrested one accused on spot. According to the police report , the a Police Party of Police Station Chenani led by SHO Chenani following a reliable input, laid a surprise naka at Chenani Top on NH1 -A and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing Registration numbers JK 02 W-2386. "During the search, 07 bovine animals were found loaded in a Tata Mobile and the driver failed to give any satisfactory reply to police questioning further substantiating the police suspicion, police reports said further adding, "one person namely Jabir Ahamed (Driver ) S/o Mohd Akram R/O Batote was arrested on the spot while all the bovine animals were rescued.
