Jammu Jan 29:In effort to attract foreign tourists to Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation led by Tourism Minister Ghulam Ahmed Mir has taken part in the four-day-long Fitur international tourism and trade fair in Madrid. "We have begun our tourism campaign on the international front to attract large number of foreign tourists to the state, particularly Kashmir valley," Mir told PTI from Spain over the phone. The state tourism ministry has setup several stalls and publicity counters on the theme 'Peace -- prosperity and tourism' at 'Fitur', annual international tourism fair in Madrid, which began today and will conclude on February 3. Considered one of the biggest tourism and trade fairs across the globe, the delegation would promote the rich culture, scenic landscapes, resorts and other various attractions of the three regions of Srinagar, Jammu and Ladakh. |
