| January 30 be observed as 'Anti-Terrorism Day': JKNPP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT NEW DELHI, Jan 30 : Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) observed 30th January, this day, as 'Anti-Terrorism Day' with clear message that 'terrorism' is the enemy of mankind and must be fought at all platforms throughout the world. Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron JKNPP accompanied by several party activists visited Tees January Marg, Birla House in New Delhi where Gandhiji was assassinated on 30th January, 1948 and paid homage to Gandhiji. The Panthers Party in a resolution forwarded to the President and Prime Minister of India has urged the Govt. of India to declare 30th January as 'Anti-Terrorism Day' to transcend a clear message to the people of the world that 'terrorism' is the sworn enemy of mankind, peace and progress. The resolution also urged the government to include the names and history of all the martyrs in the syllabus of textbooks from the schools to the universities so that next generations may also remain aware of the great contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs. This shall be an effective approach to demolish the seedlings of terrorism which has been causing threat to the humanity and peace all over the world. |
