Jammu, Jan 30 (JNF) : Vigilance Organization Jammu today registered an FIR against Mohammad Saif posted as PSO to SDPO Mendhar, who had allegedly demanded and accepted Rs 15000 from a complainant to save him from the proceedings u/s 182 RPC.
According to the FIR a complaint was received from one Vojee Ahmed Khan alleging that Saif had taken Rs 15000 to be given to the police authorities for settlement of the case.
A VO spokesman said during the verification it was revealed that Saif PSO to SDPO Mendhar demanded and accepted Rs 15000 as bribe from the complainant in order to save him from proceedings u/s 182 RPC. |
