BHADERWAH, Jan 30: Youth Congress President Bhaderwah Assembly Constituency, Nadeem Sharief has said that decision to transfer some PG courses like M. Sc Chemistry and MA Urdu from Degree College Bhaderwah to University Campus Bhaderwah is a grave injustice with the students of Bhaderwah, Bhallessa and Chiralla. In a press statement issued here today, Sharief said that Degree College is already lacking some important PG courses like Botany and Zoology despite being the second oldest college in Jammu and Kashmir after GGM Science College Jammu. Nadeem Sharief further said that instead of promoting such a heritage institution, Government is trying to withdraw important courses from Degree College Bhaderwah. Nadeem Sharief said that a delegation of Youth Congress along with College students will soon meet Vice Chancellor Jammu University, Higher Education Minister and Chief Minister adding that during the meeting the Youth Congress will project demand of granting heritage status to Degree College, Bhaderwah and if the demand is not met Youth Congress would launch a protest.
