| Fake certificates used in NRHM selections | | CMO Shopian blames state medical faculty for faulty verification | | Javaid Naikoo
Jammu, Feb 3: With an intention to allegedly grab lakhs of rupees, District health society Shopian selected candidates with dubious degrees and dropped the deserving ones.
In a major disclosure, it has come to the fore that the documents produced by many of the selected candidates were fake as their certificates showed the dates of course during which they were admitted in different other colleges and institutions as regular students
According to the document details received in this regard, the candidates selected under this programme have produced 18 months diploma certificates under MM-PHW which have contradictions in time period, seal, Roll Nos and durations of the courses. The certificates of the selected candidates also clash with their regular attendance received from degree college Shopian and from other educational institutions, which reveals that the candidates have got dubious degrees to get these jobs after paying huge amounts to the concerned officials before selection.
The document details reveal that the candidates selected under NRHM namely Ajaz Ahmad malik son of Abdul Gani of Sharatpora selected for the post of MMPHW at serial no one has produced certificate of 18 months diploma course instead of one year by a Delhi based institute during the period 2006-08,where as during the same period, the said candidate was a regular student of degree college shopian under registration no 4308-sc-2006 and qualified first year exam under roll no 26900, second year in 2007 under roll no 33220 and third year in 2008 under roll no 23638.
Sajad Ahmd Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi of D.K Pora selected for the post of MMPHW at serial no two in the selection list has produced 18 months certificate from the university of Technology and Sciences Raipura Chhattisgarh, an institute not recognized with state medical faculty J&K. The said candidate at the same time was working as driver in public health centre D.K pora on voluntarily basis.
Gowher Hussain Bhat son of Mohd Ayub Bhat selected at serial no three in the list has produced a certificate of 18 months diploma course dated 2005 to 2007,where as during the same period he was a regular student of Government higher secondary school Shopian under registration no 02PM7007023 and qualified 10+2 under exam roll no 747250 and after that he got admission in degree college Shopian under registration no 4773-sc-2006.
Another candidate Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Hameed Dar of Badimargh also has produced 18 months certificate dated 2007 to 2009 where as he was also a regular student in Government degree college shopian registration no 4769-sc-2006 and qualified first year in 2006 under exam roll no 27329 and second year in 2007 under exam roll no 33213.
Likewise the candidates who were kept in waiting list namely Rafiq Ahmad Najar son of late Mohd Amin of Malik mohalla shopian at serial no one has produced 10th pass certificate where as eligilibility for the post is 10+2 and is an over aged candidate.
