7 PoK guests arrive, 3 Kashmiris cross to other side of LoC

SRINAGAR, Mar 18 : Seven fresh guests from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here while three Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad this afternoon.
Seven returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on LoC in Uru sector, official sources said.
They said seven POK residents, highest number so for in 2013, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman setu, peace bridge, on foot this afternoon.
They included two women and a child.
Six Kashmiris, who had gone to POK, also returned to their homes after completing stay with their relatives, separated in 1947.
They said three Kashmiris, including two women, crossed over to other side of the LoC to meet their relatives.
A POK resident also returned to him home after completing stay in Kashmir.
So far in 2013, 94 Kashmiris had gone to other side of the bus while only 22 have visited the Kashmir valley.
The number of POK guests drop during winter because of cold weather conditions in Kashmir.
