Jammu, Mar 18 : Handicraft Industrial Cooperative Society (HICS) held awareness camp at village Karwa of Banihal District Ramban, on Monday.
According to press release, the Camp was organized by Sarwar Hussian, Deputy Registrar, Induscos, Jammu with the collaboration of industrial Cooperative Societies of District Ramban.
About 165 participants from the surrounding areas were present. The objective camp was to aware Artisans, members of Handicrafts Societies, participants about the schemes of various departments through the medium of Induscos Wing of Handicrafts.
Speaking on the occasion Sarwar said that Handicraft sector is playing vital role and is back bone in economy of State by generating employment opportunity for the un-employee youths, down trodden section of the society of J&K State for both male and female.
The locals who attended the camp appreciated the efforts of the officers of the department for organizing such camps and make aware the people of far flung areas. |
