| Deputations from Reasi, Doda call on Wani | | | JAMMU: Several deputations from Jammu division on Sunday called on Minister for R&B Abdul Majid Wani and projected the problems and demands of their respective areas, while seeking timely redressal of the same.The Minister gave a patient hearing to all the deputations and also issued on the spot direction in many cases. He assured the deputations that their genuine demands will be given due consideration. Deputations from Dharmari, Reasi and areas of Shiva Barsoo, Machan, Lal Draman, Wanipora etc of District Doda, demanded up-gradation of several major and minor roads.
They also demanded up-gradation of Health Sub Centres at Wanipora, Kotal, Kachua etc, PHC at Shiva, better drinking water facilities at Sharikh-Shiva area and women Handicraft at Shiva etc.
Responding to the demands, Mr. Wani said that development of road infrastructure has been accorded priority, particularly in Districts with low connectivity. He said all the genuine demands would be given due consideration and taken up with the concerned for early redressal. |
