| 8 ASIs & 17 Head Constables promoted | | | Early TImes Report
JAMMU, Apr 17: The Departmental Promotion Committee under the chairmanship of S. M. Sahai, Additional Director General of Police Armed, approved promotions of 17 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors, 08 ASIs to the rank of SIs, besides granted “In-situ” promotions to 18 officers/officials of J&K Armed Police.
The ADGP assured to convene DPC meetings in future for timely promotions in J&K Armed Police as and when vacancies are available, besides Grade Placements for next higher grades of followers of J&K Armed Police is also in queue. Sahai while congratulating the newly promoted officers and officials expressed hope that they will continue to work with the same devotion and dedication.
