| Awareness camp held on Civil Defense, Disaster Management | | |
UDHAMPUR: The Civil Defense organization Udhampur organized a one day awareness camp on Civil Defence and Disaster Management at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Udhampur on Thursday.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Udhampur, DySP Bodh Raj.
Principal of the host school, Rash Paul Singh, was the chief guest on the occasion.
While appreciating the functioning of Civil Defence Organization, Singh said that move of the organization is to organize awareness programmes in educational institutions of the district would certainly go a long way in creating awareness among the common masses about the disaster management.
Master Trainer Mr. Kuldeep Singh delivered lecture on the topic related to fire incident and earthquake as well as precautionary measures before, during and after the quake and their impact on human life.
Among others trainers, staff members and students attended the camp. |
