SRINAGAR, June 1: As many as 6,47,689 outdoor and indoor patients have been treated and 84,045 investigations performed in district Bandipora during last financial year. In all, 998 major and 6,423 minor surgeries have also been conducted in the district.
This was stated during a meeting of Health officers at Bandipora, convened to review the achievements registered under health sector in the district.
The meeting was informed that 26,393 films of X-Ray, ECG and USG were taken while as 19,733 dozes of DPT, OPV and Measles have been done. As many as 6,627 deliveries and 109 operations of cataract were also performed during a medical camp.
About 11,000 children were examined under School Health Programme by visiting 203 different schools in the district during the same period. |
