Srinagar, June 6 : In connection with the distribution of Noor-u-Din Memorial Scholarships, a function was organized in the Auditorium of S. P. College which was presided over by Dr. Ashrafa Jeelani, a renowned academician. In the function scholarship were distributed among the meritorious / deserving students. Dr. Ashrafa Jeelani instituted this scholarship by donating Rupees 5 lac last year to raise a corpus fund to sustain the scholarship. Principal of the college, Dr. Yaseen Ahmad Shah while speaking on the occasion welcomed the initiative of instituting the Noor-u-Din Memorial Scholarship in the college. Dr. Ashrafa Jeelani in her address stressed upon the students to work hard and attain academic heights. |
