SRINAGAR: Wahab Dramatic Club, Hajin Sonawari, today staged the play “Nyay” in the annual drama festival being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, culture and Languages.
The festival is being organised by the Academy at the Women’s College MA Road.
The play, written and directed by Dr. Aziz Hajini, depicted the inner conflict of the human mind while experimenting with symbolic and absurdist approach of theatre.
Prominent personalities including Chief Information Commissioner Mr. G. R. Sofi, Mr. Mohammad Shafi Pandit, Prof Zaman Azurdah, Prof Iqbal Nazki and Prof Farooq Fayyaz were present on the occasion.
Seven plays have already been staged so far out of the total eight performances comprising the Academy festival this year. |
