| Sevadar centre inaugurated at Tangdar | | | Early Times Report
Tangdar, June 16: Jammu and Kashmir State Board Social Welfare Chairperson, Ms. Khemlata Wakhloo today accompanied by senior officers inaugurated Sevadar (Shelter Home) centre at Kharpora in frontier Karnah Tehsil of Kupwara district.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) who is also the chairman of the centre, on the occasion, apprised the Chairperson that 25 orphan girls shall be provided free education facilities besides shelter. The Chairperson directed the SDM to ensure proper education and provide medicare facilities to the orphans. She also distributed text books and school bags among the orphans.
The cultural variety programme was also presented on the occasion. |
